Lighthouse celebrates 25 years as an IT beacon

Brisbane-based Lighthouse will this week celebrate a rare industry achievement of 25 years delivering high-quality IT services and software solutions.

Lighthouse Managing Director Bernie Fitzsimon said surviving 25 years in the fast-moving, ever-changing IT industry was the equivalent of a century in most other industries.

“Netscape Navigator and Nokia 3310 phones were a thing when the company began and like all technologies we have grown to ensure we stayed at the cutting edge of the industry,” Mr Fitzsimon said.

“I’m proud that in that time we have designed, developed and implemented many of the most complex and comprehensive private and Government information systems across Australia and New Zealand.”

Kedron-based Lighthouse has a team of highly skilled experts in business processing, delivering software solutions and services for cloud, mobile and other platforms.

Lighthouse also has a significant involvement in designing and implementing large-scale, complex Regulatory Management Systems across many areas of government including the health, transport and construction sectors.

“We are proud or our achievements and have set out our course to deliver for our customers for the next 25 years with a suite of new product platforms ready to roll out,” Mr Fitzsimon said.

“The world has come a long way since 1998 and I look forward delivering our new generation technology including our flagship Navigate Cloud, a ground-up design and development, several years in the making, which will be rolled out to our client base in the coming months.”

The company began business as Customer Management Technologies in March 1998 and is now trading as LighthouseHQ.
